Campaign New Horizons |
In 2008, an annual giving program was established for ensuring the museum’s financial stability, while
providing the needed funding for daily operations. We call this program Campaign New Horizons.
Seventy-five percent of each donation is directed to the Investment Fund, while the other twenty-five
percent is received by the Operating Account.
Members generously contributed over $350,000 in 2011, and pledged an additional $160,000 for 2012
and beyond. Our goal for 2012 is $250,000, which is based on a balanced budget and growth for the
investment portfolio.
Last year, our members asked for levels of recognition within the program. These were designed in such
a way that everyone could participate. Please select from one of the options below:
- – Museum Patron any contribution up to $1,000
– Century Club (100 members only) $1,000 each year for 5 years
– President’s Club $2,500 each year for 5 years
– Chairman’s Club $5,000 each year for 5 years
– Aviator’s Club $10,000 each year for 5 years
The museum has the ability to accept many forms of payment. We are happy to make necessary
arrangements related to cash, stocks, bonds, charitable trusts, IRA distributions, or property. An
envelope is included for your convenience, or you are welcome to contact the museum at (931) 455-1974
or contributions@beechcraftheritagemuseum.org.
On June 20, 1974, the Beechcraft Heritage Museum was recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code. The final ruling issued on May 12, 1976 declared the foundation not subject to
tax on investment income, since it is a public charity rather than a private foundation.
